TEHRAN - Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaee says that French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is a “dealer” of some corporations in France.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius told reporters in Vienna on Saturday that Iran and the 5+1 group need to fulfill three conditions to hammer out a deal.

Fabius said the “conditions” are “a lasting limitation of Iran’s nuclear capacities in research and production. The second is a solid verification of sites including military bases if necessary. The third is an automatic return of sanctions in case of violations of the engagements made [under an accord].”

By making such remarks the French foreign minister is seeking to take concessions from Iran and wants Iran to prioritize some French corporations in any contract, Rezaee said in a televised program aired late on Saturday.

He also said in Iran’s view the continuation of nuclear research and development (R&D) and advances in nuclear work are among the essentials of a good agreement.

The former IRGC chief expressed hope that Iran’s negotiating team, who are trusted by the Islamic Republic system and are “children of the Revolution”, would bravely defend Iran’s rights for a good agreement.

He went on to say that the nuclear talks are the first negotiations by Iran at the international level which will actually form the cornerstone of Iran’s foreign policy.

Any approach in these talks will affect other issues as well, he explained.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he stated the U.S. cannot carry out a military attack against Iran otherwise it would have attacked Iran after imposing the sanctions.

The Iranian official also described demand by Western countries for inspection of Iranian military sites as “humiliating”.

The demand for interview with Iranian nuclear scientists is also unacceptable, the official noted.

Rezaee also stated that the U.S. has no other choice but acknowledging that Iran is a “regional power”.

He also said the U.S. is aware of this fact that it will face more problems if Iran does not stand against the terrorists in the Mideast region.
